Last week I was interviewed by a local newspaper about Treasure of God Children's Home. I was nervous but the reporter spent almost half an hour on the phone with me. My prayer was that he catch the whole vision, and not modify my words to make it more "newsworthy".
Then I got a phone call saying they wanted a picture of me for the article. Ah! I was not thrilled, but it ended up that in the photo I was surrounded by pictures of the kids I have worked with and grown to love, so I didn't mind as much.
I am thrilled with the result. There were maybe a few things that could have been added, and a gramatical check here or there, but overall, I really think he understood and conveyed the heart of it.
